Well lemmy can have very different UI with very different colours
It’s the default though.
Reddit could also be customized by each subreddit (at least on old.reddit)
On my Sync, it’s the same as Reddit.
Sync used to be a reddit client

It’s most likely a reference to their personal Lemmy server where they’ve customised the upvote button colour
Also same happens with Elon bad, Twitter bad, Facebook bad
Deservedly so.
And it will happen with favourite Lemmy instances, but we will be able to ditch that bad part, migrate, and continue to live on well.
Honestly, I miss reddit… Reddit is gone but I’m still fond of it.
