I saw elsewhere that you’re using Memmy. It uses Imgur by default. If you use the webUI it will upload directly to whatever instance you’re using. Or you can upload elsewhere and just use the link in Memmy. Like https://thumbsnap.com or https://catbox.moe . Some instances have file limits. https://pornlemmy.com is 25MB, I currently have mine https://lemmyf.uk set at 10MB. Not sure what lemmy.world’s is.
It’s a decent interface just using mobile browser, and supports direct file upload too. See “Browse” area of screenshot here:
You can directly upload a file as the post link, and you can add images to the text body (same for comments).
Images in the text body will show as added links in the text body, formatted like
You can hit Preview to see, but the image should show up as an image once posted.
This image shows about 14 words so it tells very, very little. Nearly nothing.

Which makes sense because imgur banned NSFW images a while ago.
Thanks for the heads up. I’m aware of imgur (sigh) and I miss it so. The app I’m using seems to be changing my direct uploads to imgur links when I’m trying to post so I figure I’ve done something wrong… going to look into it now
