Interesting!
nice test. I mean, I can use this info tomorrow - hows that for real world impact? :-)
wish he had rated ease/damage of non-failure removal.
In my usage of a lot of these, not many are easy to remove. When using anchors, I’m assuming I’m going to be repairing a quarter sized hole if I ever need to remove them.
Personally I use the vinyl ones (left most in the thumbnail) for almost all common tasks. They spread a little when the screw goes in unlike the metal ones. I use the butterfly toggles for bigger jobs
I prefer toggle bolts since I’m used to them, high weight load and easy to break and retry a mounting.
Very helpful. Excellent methodology and presentation.
Love this channel, I’ve watched his videos for a couple years now. His scientific method can leave a lot to be desired at times, but it’s still great information and I always keep them in mind.
This is one of the more iconic ones, in my mind, but he’s still going strong today
Project Farm, Nile Red, and Technology Connections are the best three channels on YouTube.
I like Nile Red’s content, but his style is a little too wooden for me. Explosions and Fire / Extractions and Ire scratch my chemistry itch.
Never seen those- but I have used these that are similar and like them.
