Which is kind of funny when you consider they do a series where they compete in who can make the edgiest bowling animation that, iirc, referenced school shootings, 9/11, domestic abuse, killing someone while drunk driving, etc.
I get their point, but…c’mon. They might be overreacting a little bit.
When I worked on Patriots Day and we were rigging the Black Falcon location, Peter Berg’s LA crew was playing real-life footage of the bombings on loop on every single monitor that they had in the building. While I worked on getting the set ready, we were subjected to gory, real-life footage of people’s limbs being blown off on loop for weeks. Peter also joked with the actors that played the bombers while re-enacting the Sean Collier murder.
Great guy.
