What all they said about the reset, also Amber light on a Dell could be anything out of the ordinary. Only have one out of two power supplies plugged in? Messed up network config, bad fan, missing discs, bad disc. You name it, it’ll throw amber.

If you really don’t want to reset it, throw it on a switch with another device and run Wireshark, You’ll see it’s a source IP while it’s looking for its long lost network. Course that’s still not likely to help you if you don’t have logins

I went from Fitbit to Withings, that Fitbit scale was nothing but pain. Every time my battery started getting low it would disconnect from Wi-Fi and I have to re pair it. It was inconsistent, If you pick it up and move it a foot to the left you get a completely different reading than if you just leave it where it sits. Because of the messed up fluctuations, It constantly identified the wrong person in the house.

Had the Withings scale for 4 years now and it’s just been fine.

My YouTube music app is able to see my Roku. Might be able to work something out there with a Roku stick.

On my desk at work I have an ultra wide, a single external laptop screen to my right and a TV on the far wall on my left.

Snapping two apps right and left on the uw is fantastic on the ultra wide. Price aside, it’s as good or better than having two monitors.

The TV obviously doesn’t count cuz it’s only there for other people or if I want to have server graphs running for show.

But the secondary monitor works really well is a semi important parking space. I usually slide slack and signal over there. That way I can see what was sent and only worry about going over to it if it’s something I need to respond to. I find it kind of nice to have that logical division over there. I can hot key stuff over that monitor.

I’d say if someone has the money the UW is fantastic, But it’s super useful to have a secondary monitor from a mental standpoint for me at least.

I agree, two is probably the productive limit as long as you only have one mouse cursor. But I just got a dual screen laptop with touch on both. I can easily slip between a soure document, destination document and have a web page or other tool open for research it’s kind of classy.

I’d agree on location. But that cover is somewhere between 100 and 300 lbs :) That’s be one hell of a chute cover :)
