I’m confused about what this means? Are the anti-fascists the one’s dropping the bombs on innocent Palestinians?

Probably the ones that made the meme pointing out the hypocrisy of US empire and its support of Israel…

Are you just looking for something to get angry at or did you momentarily turn your brain off? This meme is clearly not in support of the bombing of Palestinians.

Are you just looking for something to get angry at or did you momentarily turn your brain off? Ssm’s comment clearly can be read sarcastic seeing the votes, which changes it’s meaning quite a bit. Dessalines is right to for ask for clarification before swinging the hammer.

          Thank you for your analysis!

I’m not a leftist anymore, I simply don’t appreciate the zionism in the DNC (and yes, the GOP too). People are very quick to prescribe labels and polarize if it falls outside their political organization’s boundaries!

I’m not a leftist because the left is also full of fascists that provide (un)critical support to any country deemed AES, and I know this because I used to be very much an AES-worshipping tankie myself. I still have some respect for socialists and communists that don’t prescribe to AES ideology, but it’s still just mostly infighting over which system failed better. At some point I just concluded that communist/socialist/leftist is harmful baggage to carry, that only leads to snap judgements from corpomedia brained folk.

If that’s what you got from this, I can’t help you. If you think you can’t be a leftist without being right wing, or right wing without being leftist, you’re too deep in the shit.

No, SDF doesn’t have any particular bad rap, most of you are nice. There’s a reason there hasn’t been any serious discussion of defedding Hexbear from SDF.

But all the same, not being from Hexbear or Lemmygrad (and to a lesser extent lemmy.ml) means that foreign policy takes I don’t agree with are more common. Especially since there’s often people that will have leftist beliefs about domestic politics, but have different feelings about foreign policy. Not to say that Hexbears can’t have bad takes, but but it’s fewer, farther between, and they often end up with the comment removed or are banned quickly.

Perhaps my wording was a bit misleading, though.

Yes, the antifascist are the ones committing genocide even though the majority of Americans disagree so you must support very unpopular genocide to save democracy. This us all very normal and not weird at all.
