      I remember a nurse detailing a case like this on AskReddit and it was absolutely gruesome. The recovery is a long road of hell.

        That response is now posted above. It’s kinda long, so I didn’t read the whole thing. But if the RN didn’t mention it:

        Ridiculously dangerous, too. When there’s a wound this size, there’s a lot of area open to bacteria. It’s potentially fatal.
