I thought due to the sheer amount or “resistance” involved with the process of a photon of light from our sun ,reaching us, involved a very long duration of sub-light speed travel as it moves from the interior where it is initially generated? Maybe I’ve got it all twisted, but I though they had an excruciating long tormenting period of existence bouncing around trying to escape the sun’s interior, followed by an “instant” passage from the breakout point to reaching us (since now, at c, the photon indeed will not “experience time”.
