Trump took to Truth Social to criticize a potential witness, former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, who was scheduled to testify before a special grand jury investigating Trump’s election interference in Georgia. Legal experts said this amounted to witness tampering. Trump then attacked the judge overseeing his Washington D.C. election conspiracy case for being biased against him. He had previously made unfounded claims that the Georgia district attorney investigating him, Fani Willis, had an affair with a gang member. Willis denied the allegations as false and derogatory. If another defendant engaged in similar behavior on social media about a witness, they could face witness tampering charges or be jailed. The judge in Trump’s D.C. case had recently warned him to stop making antagonizing statements, but he continued his attacks on Truth Social.
I can’t believe no one on his team is vetting his posts. Do they even care that he keeps breaking the law on social media? Like who gives a fuck at this point?
They need to just set up some kind of private server for Trump to post on. Let him ramble and break the law and then they can add some fake upvotes and ass-kissing ai comments. Don’t let him live post. He’d never know the difference.
Pushing the boundaries until they buckle under the pressure is the point
Let’s be real: if you were his lawyer… would you try to hide his posts and risk getting fired without pay if he found out… or would you shut up and slap another item on the bill for defending him from another accusation?
And even if he weren’t to end up paying you the bill… which one would make for a more entertaining book to publish with higher chances of making more cash?
At this point, it’s vultures vs. vultures.
I’m gonna stop you right there.
Does it matter how high a bill that wont be paid is?
Definitely! The higher, the better you can market a book about it.
