Capitalism won, because for a variety of reasons, a capitalist economy works better to advance both general well being and innovation in general, as well as represents a system far less prone to systemic corruption than communism.
Does it strike you as strange that the economic system built around rewarding people for greed and wealth accumulation, Capitalism, would somehow encourage less corruption? Surely they’d be the type more susceptible to it?
