To play devil’s advocate, there’s quite a lot of paranoia around air travel these days. Security theater or not, I could see an inexperienced flight attendant getting antsy about someone asking to help with the tech on a plane. A lot of the linked messages seem to agree.
That being said, waiting until they wrote the complaint makes it seem more petty. And yet, it’s hard to judge without knowing how exactly the offer was presented.
