Oh yeah I was just on too small of a screen to notice, but you must be right.
Maybe anti-aliasing on the characters introduces a bunch of intermediate colors too.
It’s insane to me that SVG viewers aren’t more common, raster images are SO inefficient for simple compositions, like this one.
