It’s really sad honestly, there’s so many alternatives to WinRAR and no one dares uses them.
Because winrar let’s you use it for free, it’s basically the best tactic to let your software stick.
If you don’t pay for WinRAR, the only thing it will do is show up notices to buy it. This is intentional, meant to prevent piracy. So it’s more like a donation rather than a purchase.
Every other worthwhile one is also free and does not prompt you for purchase.
