Atleast you dont get to see them in september
I actually enjoy it. Right after daylight saving time change, it’s dark around 5/6pm here. Christmas lights makes it more bearable.
I’m good with the lights, it’s the music in every single store or public place that eventually starts to grind me down. I can only hear the same songs so many times
Will never work in retail ever again because of the music. I barely want to go into stores during the holidays because of how awful the Christmas music gets.
There’s a certain level of depression one hits when you find yourself quietly praying the playlist fucks up again, because damn, you’d rather hear “Benny and the Jets” again over another Christmas song.
My store, thankfully, holds off until about a week before Christmas and the week after. It’s still absolute hell.
It’s not early november anymore my dude. Wake up.
I choose to believe what was programmed to believe.
Hot take. Any day before December 1st is too early.

Saw my first Christmas puddings and decorations in the shop on the 26th August this year, a new low
This is the policy in Canada: No Christmas decorations before November 12. After Rememberance Day, poppies come off, Christmas decorations go up.
