    Lol, but don’t do that. That’s for a regular wound. For a snake bite, you want to keep the wound below the heart, so gravity is helping keep the venom from spreading in the blood.

    Australian here, you DO NOT raise a snake bite! Snake bites should have pressure and always be below the heart to slow distribution of the venom through the blood stream. Also don’t move and wait for help.
