I’ve read about tea, brownies, oil, butter, eaten as is (not sure about that one!).

Which one do you recommend? 🌿

AVB tastes awful to me so im not much for the gourmet experience.

Mix with everclear in a tuppaware container. Shake the container for a few minutes. Strain out the liquid and mix with OJ. Be careful, this shit knocks you out.

Give it multiple thorough washes with water inside a French press, until the water becomes clear. Dry it again. It turned gray at this point.

Mix it with coconut oil and a tiny portion of lecitine and cook it 1h @ about 90°C in a water bath.

Pour it through a cheese cloth and fill a few capsules using a syringe. Put the capsules in the fridge. Same for the rest of the oil.

Tastes great on toast with chocolate or in a coffee.

No, that’s an advantage. Expect the oil having a little toasty flavor btw. But It’s not bad.

I make budder using a sous vide with mine:

    • 1/2 cup ABV
    • One 4-ounce stick of butter (unsalted)
    • 1/4 cup of water
    • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Seal in a bag. Set SousVide to 180F and submerge bag for 4 hours (depending on how you seal the bag - you might need to do a lower temp for longer)

I then pour the contents into a french press and strain into silicone butter molds. I toss that into the freezer to set up. After about an hour I crack open the silicone molds - the butter has solidified, but all the sediment and water settles to the bottom. So I gently crack open the molds and pour out this black-ish water (alternatively you can let it fully freeze as an ice cube at the bottom… then later pop it off as you thaw out the budder - either way works).

When baking with budder, I always stay at 325F and extend baking times by 25% to ensure the active compounds aren’t cooked out.

Although one of my favorites is rice krispy treats since they use a lot of budder. Careful though - they can be extremely sedative.

Thank you for the detailed recipe! Will try that if I can get my hand on a SousVide thing.

I highly recommend this guys method, I do mine very similar. My butter comes out with a nice nutty flavor. I typically throw a puck in with rice or something. KOs my ass

I tried making tincture with it once, I even washed it a bunch of times, and it was disgusting. It’s just not worth the hassle when all the terps are gone. I’d just pay for fresh bud over this stuff. I save it for a bit and then eventually throw it away now.

Wrap it up in cheesecloth or cotton with twine and steep in melted butter and water for and hour or two. Squeeze out excess and place in fridge. The water will separate and you have butter.

I make dog bone shaped cookies dipped in icing. Made about 300 cookies where 3-4 would be all you need.

    Store in freezer for longevity.

I always make a butter. Jam an Oz of avb, two sticks of butter into a slow cooker and cover with water. Bring up to heat then reduce to a simmer for 24 hours. Strain the weed out and refrigerate the water then you’re left with a layer of medicated butter on top.
