Hey… I bought tiles a year ago and they looked good in the store.

Please dont junge they dont lign up with wall tiles. Wall has 30x60 inch and floor 59,5x59,5 so I couldnt lign them up properly.

Are the colors from floor and wall “Okay” or should I find new wall tiles? Maybe it looks different when lights are installed and wall above is white and not just plasterboard grey?

What you all think?

Dunno cause the tiles on the wall sometimes look pinkish and I am not sure if the floor is to greyish.

It just sometimes feels like it doesnt really Match. My mother and my wife said it looks great and I like it too, it is only sonetimes I get this feeling lol

Looks good. You don’t really want perfect visual consistency all the time, some variation keeps things more interesting for the eyes.

Looks good. Would look weird if the dark tiles were on the wall and light on the floor. Dark tile looks “heavier” aesthetically. Also there is no expectation for the joints to line up in this scenario. Post finished pics please.

Make sure the tiles on that stub wall and window sill are angled to drain back into the shower or youre gonna hate life in about a year. Id also suggest 100℅ silicone caulk in these areas.

I see what you mean, but the shower is behind the wall I took the picture of.

I angled them inside the shower but I also have a glas door just in case the water will flow out of it that I will install once I tested the shower lol.

Gotcha. In the pic it looked like the shower would be next to window. My mistake. Anyhow, gonna be a rad bathroom.

Thanks! :-) It’s a lot of work, especially I’m no professional just trying what I can do lol. It’s gonna take a while because I gotta finish the other rooms in the house too lol :D

I agree with the others, looks good. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

I would suggest something light for the cabinetry/accents or it’s going to become a dungeon.

    Keep up the good work!

Those look great together. You won’t notice the line up difference once it’s all done.
We have the floor tiles on the wall in our main bathroom, but they’re extra long so it doesn’t look same-y. Plus the shower glass breaks up the tile so it doesn’t immediately look the same.
In the other bathrooms, we have the same style of square tile on the floor and wall, but the wall is a smaller tile to be more stable while the floor is larger tile for the style we wanted.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I just finished grouting the tiles an hour ago. This is what they look like now!

I think I will keep the tiles, it looks better now!
