It just started and we’re still in off season so might as well. I think Germany has the perfect group to embarrass themselves too should they not make it out of groups stage.
With the time difference there will only be a handful of games that I’ll be awake for.

I’m watching, but on dvr. I’m in the US and have 2 young kids so only way to watch for me is to watch on dvr during the workday.

I’m definitely watching the World Cup – I just got back from the pub where I was watching New Zealand beat Norway. I’ve been trying to get !worldcup@lemmy.world going for the World Cup so that people who want to talk about it have a space that’s dedicated to the tournament, so if you wanna come hang out over there as well, it might be fun!
Negative. Time difference to Aus/NZ is just too much.
Same. The games are actually available as VODs on Viaplay, but it’s just not as exciting to watch after the fact. I might still watch some Sweden games that way though, and maybe the semi-finals and the final.
