The American sports convention is to list the visiting team first.
To add to this, if the box score is stacked, the home team will be on the bottom. I would venture a guess that this has its origins in baseball. The visiting team bats first, therefore were listed above the home team.

Los Angeles Chargers (playing) AT (Kansas City) Chiefs.
The rest of the list below communicates the same information, the location the game took place.
