Experts believe that so far only 15% of your father’s closet has been explored. Some believe that there’s an uncontacted tribe living in there, that’s never seen a white man before

😂 these people have money, you don’t get that by giving a fuck about other people. The right people? Sure. Everyone else? Eh.

You can climb a corporate ladder and make this money without hurting people. You can always help people at lower management levels and sometimes even senior manager levels or director levels make little impact. Attempts are made but often shut down or blown off.

I’m not saying a random middle manager couldn’t afford these clothes, but having a big enough house for this closet is not in their price range.

Real eastate prices have exploded, and the salaries are not following, unless you are a top executive.

I’m mid 30s now, and back when I started as an intern, the managers were living in big-ass houses with heated pools on some hillside, driving giant BMWs. By the time I got there, us managers are lucky to own a small apartment in the city or a crumbling house in the suburbs.

Corporate careers are not what they used to be, workers are exploited by capitalism everywhere, just to a diffetent extent.

Somewhere in this thread there is a new yorker or college student that is weeping right now. That appears to be larger than some dorm rooms and “budget” apartments.

They probably have prints on them. I have 10 black shirts, 10 navy, etc. They’re not the same because they have different stuff on them.

I had a friend whos main thing was going to see new bands playing live. As part of it he would almost always buy a t-shirt if they sold them and they almost always were black t-shirst with a print of the bands thing.

It used to be, but now it’s just decorative after a housekeeper stole some stuff. They’re now in the valuables vault (watches, jewelry, special clothes and shoes, etc).

Okay, this comment pushed me over into fully supporting the “obscene wealth” comments. Not only does he have a giant closet filled with a ridiculous amount of clothing, he also has a watch collection, a housekeeper, and a valuables vault for special clothes and jewelry?!

        Obscene.

If you think that’s obscene wealth, you’ve never in life seen real wealth.

Yeah that’s pretty ridiculous. I’ve seen some walk-in closets that are pretty big like this, but not quite on this level.

And no fucking vault for shit. Maybe a small safe.

Wow, it looks really good! (That is a lot of clothes though.)

Is there a reason why tshirts are hung instead of folded? They take up less space in a drawer.

What kind of stuff is stored in the large boxes at the top shelves?

I’ve always hung all of my shirts. But I don’t have nearly the amount of wasted money as this guy, so there’s plenty of room in the closet.

Yeah, rock on. It works better for some people. It looked like maybe they were running out of hanging space but the island was empty which is why I asked.

It looks more aesthetically pleasing and they’re easier to grab. More clothes, shoes, accessories that are not used as often. The drawers have stuff like ties, underwear, socks, sunglasses, accessories, etc.

It is very aesthetically pleasing! A very well done job.

And don’t feel bad because your dad is rich: no one chooses what family they are born into. Hope he’s a good guy. Looks like he’s got a solid kid!

I wish everyone could have a closet like that if they wanted it.

I’m a slob. This is beautiful. I’m also from poor roots so this is just insanely big.

Congrats on your dad for being successful, but ONLY if he doesn’t show it off to everyone who comes by ;-)
