Fuckkkkkkk…
Jokes on you, I wasn’t young then, either. Hahaha, oh wait…
The joke is always on the old.
You shut your whore mouth!
Mom, grandpa’s calling people whores again!
Ah you think dark knight is your ally? You merely adopted the dark knight. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the movie until I was already an old man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!
I still remember all the online chatter about Heath Ledger getting cast as the Joker. The guy from Brokeback Mountain and A Knight’s Tale?
Then he gives us the most iconic live action Joker potrayal which hasn’t really been been surpassed in 15 years.
Idk, I think Joaquin Phoenix played a better joker. That might be a hot take, but I stand by it.

Fuck.
What a great film
I didn’t like it.
Eh it’s not for all, mind me asking why you didn’t?
My point of view is maybe a bit strange: I was 22 years old when the film came out. Of those 22 years, I was a little Batman fan for at least 17 years. I loved the whole saga, the series, the movies, and Batman was a huge hero to me.
This film degraded my hero in my eyes. He wasn’t nearly as cool as the Joker. In every scene you rightly waited for Ledger to come and say a cool line. This film revolved around the terrific performance of Heath Ledger. Unfortunately, as an old Batman fan, it wasn’t mine.
Hey but at least you got Patrick Bateman as Batman
Villains like Joker are hard to beat in terms of coolness.
The opening is one of the best ever, from one of the best performances ever.
Omg yes, the bus scene!
What? No, it didnt. I wasnt 5 years old when it came out I was like 15-16…oh.
cruel realization OR blissful one
depends on how you look at it
If good movies can still be good after any period of time I can be young at any age.
Feels like 25 years
Oi
Man…this movie didn’t age well did it? The fuck was Bale doing with that sore throat voice? And why was the Batsuit so clunky? Isn’t Batman supposed to be agile and master in hand to hand combat.
I haven’t seen it since theaters but I hated his voice then, found it somewhere between creepy and ridiculous. I remember a scene in an interrogation room where his monologue seemed like it would never end
