Politics not supporting younger voters is not the same as young voters not being political.

Your statistics are not a valid criticism of gen Z. But of our generation and our failure to support the end of FPTP over other issues.

A 2-second look at the fucking fiscal mess we as a generation have left by voting for property prices and removing support for the higher education costs we had. Makes it pretty clear why those opinions exist. They are not a rejection of politics. But a rejection of the politics pushed by our generation of voters.

The whole idea that the younger generation is not interested. Is hardly a new one unique to gen Z.

Pretty much every generation since the 1900 has been accused of this.

The only difference is how much change in culture each generation has had to face.

Honeatly pre 1900s. One generation did not face much change from that of their grandparents world. Since then each generation has seen more change then the last. As technical groth has sped up notable even in my 50 plus yeae lifetime. The changes have been notable.

But each generation. As they age a % develop interest in things to a higher level. Little indicates gen z are any different in this.

Those of us who grew up during the IRA bombing find that statement odd.

So only nations with agreements to support sanctions against other nations are required to enforce them within there own laws.

Where as in society the means of production and the customer all have input.

And I am unsure why you think the point has any value. Political candidates represent a tiny % of the population. If each one had hundreds of people working with them. It would still be a tiny % of society…

Add to that that the vast majority of society actually has a life they need to work earn raise families. Honestly the largest percentage of society just dose not have the time or energy to protest or take part in politics.

They still have a right to complain that the people they are paying to do the job. To do it to a standard or in a way they don’t like.

Have you ever milked a cow. Do you still feel annoyed and complain when someone sells you off milk.

Of course a % of the 40% who don’t vote. Would vote trump if they did.

As you can assume trump running is not a reason for them to vote in itself.

There is 0 evidence to support the idea. That less of the 40% of non voters would vote trump. Then the other 60%.

One side will claim the other did. And respond.

We all know what way around it will be.

But will see debates about weather or not the evidence of it being broken is real.

There is also more direct fiscal reason why he may want to discurage the US from supporting Ukraine.

If the war continues with the current US weapons spending on Ukraine support. Eventually the gov is going to have to raise money to do so. This drematically increases the risk that industries like his. Will lose some tax breaks or loopholes he uses.
