Spanish guy, who likes open source software and has just discovered the fediverse (as of 28th of April, 2022). I like video games, and indie and retro music. I’m a student. I’m officially diagnosed with ADHD and ASD since January, 2023.
America is a continent and Americans are people from that continent (Canadians, Usonians, Mexicans, Cubans, Argentinians, Brazilians…)

There’s so much hostility
Same here, to be honest. Except for Beehaw, every other place seems like a no-mod/no-remember-the-human land.
I always do that, but only if I have the option to edit it. If I don’t, then maybe I delete my comment and start over, or maybe I don’t.
Those are rookie numbers.
Fourth panel, meaning Corporate & Tankie Fediverse vs Free Fediverse.
Does it shadowban mentions of Kbin/Mbin or Piefed too?
That is something that can happen here too, eventually. Not by scalpers, but still.
I was about to left Lemmy/Kbin for good when some stupid fascists from Lemmy(grad).ml called me names and harassed me, despite the fact that I’m neurodivergent (like that would stop them from doing such actions, but anyway). And then I started blocking every community and user from those places, as well as any community/magazine about US politics or about any US topic because I don’t give a damn heck about that place. And my experience improved really well.
A good administrator, some good moderators, and the ability to create more instances, can solve that situation. The third one is easy, the other two…
“Nație” also exists, although it’s dated.
Understandable, because both “natio” and “imaginatio” exist in Latin, and both words are used almost with no differences in many other languages.
The federal government sets the bare minimum protections for people in United States, not in other countries of the world. And internet covers the entire world, not only United States. That’s how I see it.
you guys can’t kill a wendigo

Besides, I don’t think those are good manners to address a neurodivergent person (ADHD/ASD).
You’re not answering my question.
Do you know that it’s a really bad thing calling names to a neurodivergent person (ADHD/ASD)?
Only at reddit? Take a look at lemmy.ml or lemmygrad.ml.
