  • 100% I hate the fact that we’re funneling money I’m anti-war but the alternative is definitely much worse. If we don’t support Ukraine, Russia gains power and a free pass to invade whoever the hell they want. If we don’t support Israel we leave a power vacuum and The power influence of the US gets replaced by either Russia or China. No good options anyehere.

Obviously, supporting Israel is also supporting genocide. It’s a classic catch-22.

I’m so glad I’m not the president! He gets to choose between eating a shit sandwich, and eating shit gumbo.

At least Ukraine has a pretty righteous cause. So there’s that…

  • I’m not sure I understand your point. Are you trying to say that it being pro-war is a necessary evil? Are you assuming that the world would be less better off without powerful and breathtakingly enriched entities that thrive on war?

I’m not saying I have all the answers but I don’t think I have to have all the answers to be against war or to be against the military industrial complex. Maybe that’s just me. 😁

  • What I’ve observed is that inside the Catholic Church it’s seen as something quite similar to American politics where you have the left and the right and they’re both pushing separate agendas within the organization and it truly is just as political and it truly is just as divided but the problem is what they’re doing here is making a statement that represents the entire organization and that statement is gut-wrenchingly bigoted.

After a certain point regardless of where you stand if an organizations doctrine is in disagreement with your own values You’ve got to just leave and the problem is a lot of the progressives just won’t leave Catholicism.

Hopefully this statement changes that and they see a mass exodus. Pun intended.
