The problem is that America has no mainstream centrist or leftist media. It’s either center-right or far-right. The closest we get to a progressive are comics like John Stewart and John Oliver.

Some of us never even had a chance to fight back. This battle was lost before I was born. Bush v Gore was more than 24 years ago, I was barely a child. I wasn’t even alive for Reagan. What can I do now, 40 years too late?

Why wouldn’t they? The ADL has never had a problem with fascism, they’re one of it’s staunchest supporters.

Americans are lazy bastards, and nothing makes them lazier than the cold. For as much as I admire Luigi, he will have thrown his life away for nothing. If he’d been a little bit sooner, or a lot bit later, maybe he could be a martyr. As is, he’ll be a footnote.

What you would need is several copycat killers, with some getting away, during the summer when Americans are comfortable protesting. Even then, American protests have recently been toothless, and haven’t made any effect on politics ever since Trump took office in 2016.

The kinda people joining Rednote right now are not the same kinda people who know alot about geopolitics, or honestly anything beyond their personal bubble. Yeah, they’re just gonna keep pretending Europe doesn’t exist.
