I bought a small APC UPS about a year ago and am glad I did. In my area, very brief outages are somewhat common so a small UPS will work for the majority of outages.
A download manager I found to work well generally was aria2c. Only really worth it if you are on linux but it is simple yet powerful.
Fair enough. And yeah, I would also rather have an iPhone for daily activities over Google Android.
That’s the beauty of android. The Google Play store is trash so use something like f-droid instead.
Tubular is a fork of Newpipe that adds sponsorblock which is really nice.
Don’t forget about the “personalised recommendations.”
I would like to add that the way movies use raytracing (usually called path tracing in that context) is very different from how games use raytracing. While animated movies will simulate every ray of light to create the entire image, games use raytracing typically only for reflections and global illumination, while the rest of the image is still rendered using traditional techniques. (I’m no expert, though I have spent a bunch of time using Blender and playing around with Minecraft Raytracing mods)
