I truly think the “moral shackles” could be the reason/key Ukraine can and will win this thing in the end eventually. They realize that the Russian World and way of doing things will inevitably lead to more destruction/war/corruption/bleak future than taking a stand and trying to turn this ship around. There will be more dying and war and internal problems but in the end Ukraine has it in it to do the right thing and what is best for it’s people.
