Keep down-voting, logic can’t seem to get through to you - if there were actual genocidal intent by Israel there’s no chance there’s no chance there were only 20 thousand or so dead.
These figures are probably over-hyped by the Hamas “health ministry”, which hold a Guinness world record for the fastest body countering by the way.
Obviously Israel can’t just exterminate the whole population. The world wouldn’t accept that. But making the region unliveable is a different story. They’ve been working on that for decades and this is the culmination of that plan.
If they were just hunting for"terrorists" they wouldn’t have to level entire blocks. Drive entire cities out of their homes.
I realize none of this will connect because Israel’s defenders will argue that for it’s security there’s no line it can’t cross. But for those of us on the sidelines the goal us pretty damn obvious. From “voluntary migration” to there’s “no such thing as a Palestinian people” (quotes from serving ministers) it’s pretty damning stuff.
Holding on to the believe that they can exterminat/eradicate (what they are calling for) the Jews from these lands and return is preposterous. This land is now Israel and I don’t care what happened 70 years ago.
Their situation is a result of their stubbornness and recusal to live under Jewish rule.
The world is dynamic and this conflict is ridiculous.
So you’re accusing Israel of doing everything it can in light of a terrorist organization holding 136 hostages as of now, which has dug all of it’s military facilities underneath civilian buildings and infrastructure to not upset the international community?
What is it that you expect Israel to do? Trust the terrorists that have shown by action and by verbal intent they will keep on doing their genocidal Jihadist quest?
You’re viewing this through your (probably) western eyes.
The population has been radicalized for years now (see https://youtu.be/W3jHj93JFMQ), and is being controlled by a terrorist organization with a mission of creating an Islamic State in the region, the Palestinian cause is just an excuse it uses.
Coming from outside, not knowing the full history of the region, and saying “ok kids, stop fighting and behave like an adult” when in reality one kid is a literal terrorist is (IMHO) naive.
Both Israel and the Palestinians are between a rock and a hard place, but the only way forward is to get rid of the terrorists who are not playing by any rules - their only wish is for the abolishment of Israel and its non-muslim citizens, with no regards for actual Palestinian lives.

The UN seems to be of the opinion that genocide has occurred. But I’m sure you have better sources than they do.
That’s a false claim

Sometimes you need to know when you lost.

Behave like a civilized nation. Not collectively punishing an entire population for the actions of some. It’s incredible to have to explain that.
This is not good vs evil. This is evil vs evil. Fighting fire with fire is ridiculously stupid.
