A group of survivors of Nazi death camps will mark the 79th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp during World War II in a modest ceremony in southern Poland

Once the last WW2 veteran is gone, everyone will forget (if they hadn’t already, it’s been 80 years or closing on to it). Then we’ll be off on people who think they know how it all went and the re-writing of history will commence.

There are no WW1 survivors around, no one has forgotten about that.
We have people alive during this and there are currently multiple genocides going on.
