I’m going to be creating and posting these “pickone” images that ask you to choose between two (or more) choices. Hope you guys enjoy it :)
Waffles. Tough and cunchy while also soft and chewy at the same time! Never gets old.
Pancakes, all the time, every time.
If I ever abandon all hope, I plan to eat nothing but pancakes until I perish.
With the cheapass syrup, too – none of this frilly shit. Just good old American artificially flavored corn syrup over pancakes from a box.
Waffles. Belgian waffles. Soft, crisp, chewy… Mmmmm
Best for maximizing surface area to volume ratio! The least flat choice!
Waffles >> French Toast >>> Pancakes
Not even questionable. Pancakes turn into a disgusting gelatinous mess after like 10 seconds with syrup. They’re too dense, so you feel like shit after eating them.
Waffles are the GOAT and I’ll die on that hill
I’m a grown man but when I bring my kids to my mom’s and we stay over she busts out the pancakes. Crispy edges, fluffy in the middle, the size of dinner plates. And you gotta dip in syrup, don’t pour it over. And don’t cut it up, just fork out a piece when it’s time to eat.
Won’t disagree about feeling full after, but I wouldn’t eat any of these on the reg.
You’re correct but I still love me some pancakes. Even if they literally always make me feel gross after eating.
Put some peanut butter on the pancakes and then syrup on that. You get extra protein and your pancakes don’t get soggy. Also it’s delicious!
Those seem like desserts. Carbs, sugar, and cream. Not an ounce of protein.
French Toast should be a savory dish. I wouldn’t eat any of these.
depends on the meat… bacon for french toast, sausage for pancakes…
Coffee and sandwich
If I had to pick one I’d probably go with pancake Beeeeecaaauusseee - they are the pancake-iest. I like waffles, but rarely get a good one at a restaurant. And usually the french toast is soggy and has one molecule of powdered sugar on it (if any).
The best thing I ever ate was a hot french toast casserole I had at a bed and breakfast in Ohio. It was made of very fluffy bread and had glazed pecans and a maple/brown sugar thing going on that was orgasmic. I wish I had that recipe.
Why don’t you just call the B&B and ask them for the recipe?
I’d say it has a decent chance of working
Well it was the lady who owned the B & B who made it, it was almost 10 years ago I doubt she’d remember but I have found a few recipes for it online. I’m just working up the courage to try it because I’m hard on myself when my cooking isn’t as good as other people’s.
To me nothing beats good old eggs and bacon and toast and coffee for a satisfying breakfast. Gotta have the meat, ya know. Or ham and eggs if the ham is good and not all fatty and gross.
Country or city?
Country ham and scrambled eggs. Makes a great omelet!
Pancakes and it’s not even close!
Pancakes…but I typically eat “dinner food” for breakfast. For example, I just ate a chicken sandwich for my first meal.

Hold the honey and add some bacon and I’m in
Crepes (really thin pancakes) are omitted which feels like a crime even though I know it isn’t.
It’s its own subcategory, like waffles and Belgian waffles, or French toast and stuffed French toast.
They’re all in the same family, just different species.
Because all of the others are jealous. Crepes are the svelte supermodels of the bunch. They intimidate those other doughy monstrosities–their proportions shouldn’t even be possible.
In these quantities depicted, or just in general? Because that’ll be a factor.
There’s a ton of each option. It’s all you can eat
Definitely going with the French Toast then!
French toast assuming good quality.
It’s really hard to fuck up pancakes or waffles
