The official charge is apparently “behavior that could disturb public peace”.
When you make your laws vague like that, you can charge people with crimes for whatever you feel like.
Makes you wonder how fragile their peace is, if it could be disturbed by a hat.
“spotted wearing a hat and behaving suspiciously”
Shit guys, get the SWAT team ready.
Truly, what a democracy.
The thing about democracy is that evil can be voted in.
It happened in 1933 in Germany, and 2016 in the United States.
Yeah, only fools think democracy is some silver bullet to solve the world’s problems.
There’s a relevant and oft’ cited Churchill quote to the effect that while democracy isn’t great, it’s better than any other governing system we know of.
In other words, leave us not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
As for why democracy is the best system, it’s simple; in theory democracy gives everyone a stake in governance. While it rarely if ever works out that way, Churchill was correct that it’s better than any other system we know of.
So many of our problems have clear solutions that better people than us have written down. We just need the voting public to:
- Recognize the problem
- Recognise the best solution
Democracy is only half-realized when there isn’t proper education. This includes knowing our history and future, our arts and sciences.
Zionists are Jewish nationalists.
How dare you not support genocide!
That’s where we are going. Vague defined behavior that daddy does not approved, GULAG!
