Yes, it has access to mods
You joke now, but back in 2014, this thing was absolutely better than some consoles. Also, can your console heat an entire room? I didn’t think so
not my console but my tv in 2014 could easily.
In 2014 pretty much every gaming PC was better than the xbone and the ps4, they were that terrible.
Yes, it is actually.
Consoles are better is you have a bunch of friends over and you want to pass the controllers around on the couch in the living room.
PC is better for the battlestation in your room.
I took my old gaming rig and set it up in the living room. Hooked it straight to the TV, got a wireless keyboard and 4 controllers. Couch gaming, emulators, streaming, whatever the hell I want.
I just bought a budget micro PC to do the same. I just want to play some retro games on the living room TV so the performance is good enough.
Oh that’s not a bad idea. I just upgraded my desktop, and was thinking of turning the remains into a media server, but media server plus emulation station sounds much better.
I’m thinking of getting an Nvidia shield for streaming and emulating since I don’t have spare parts.
I use a Steam Link myself, works pretty well.
before spending the money know what you want to emulate because the shield has its limitations.
yes, switch
Shoving my entire Xbox into my backpack so I can research and send in an essay from a TV the library doesn’t have
Probably not but it is cheaper and can double as a vessel to browse social media and watch videos more easily.
Social media apps on consoles are a special kind of torture
