    Right as the White House is saying that the US does support a ceasefire ‘when it is practical to do so.’

    Supporting a genocide means you’re responsible for it. The US should be ashamed.

      Same thing happened in South Africa, Rwanda, Bosnia, etc.

      Nobody with power will ever stop a genocide.

      A good portion of US citizens are ashamed of their government’s actions and speak out against them by protesting. The government knows no shame tho.

        Our broken electoral system means that our only real resolution to pressure politicians is primarying - in a healthy multi-party system one or a few parties would likely defect to the public will. Since it’s awful democrats or world ending republicans there’s almost no justification for democrats to reform their position as a group - just for vulnerable ones to defect to defend from being primaried.

        The key here is to remember these votes for the next primary.
