How is this an entire religion’s problem? Yemen has a population of 33 million. The Houthi rebels are much less. Yet you are trying to blame over 1.8 billion Muslims? That is some impressive twisting of logic.

If this disaster were the result of corporate negligence, it would be universally decried.

But since it is a deliberate environmental catastrophe, some of the loudest voices will hail it as a triumph of resistance against colonist empire. Smh

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superfund

The program is designed to investigate and clean up sites contaminated with hazardous substances. Sites managed under this program are referred to as Superfund sites. Of all the sites selected for possible action under this program (and there are tens of thousands across the U.S.), 1178 (as of 2024) remain on the National Priorities List (NPL)

Tens of thousands of sites in the US alone.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_environmental_disasters

          Many are ongoing.

Corporate oopsies are just the cost (to the world) of profit. Let’s guesstimate the ratio of impact from freedom fighters compared to profiteers.

I mean… it doesn’t have to be black and white. You can support fighting against colonialism and condemn destroying the environment.

The idea that a bunch of conservative religious nutjobs who regularly kill LGBT people and rape children are “fighting against colonialism” is absolutely comical.

I’m sure those F35’s are electric and the bombs are fully kinetic.

Surely they wouldn’t do mass pollution during their Genocide.

Imagine if they blew up buildings filled with asbestos to give everyone in Gaza cancer. They are the most moral army in the world.

21st century, meet 18th century; apparently the Barbary Wars come around again but on a different corner of Africa?
