Would you step foot in a sub that Musk personally had a hand in building given the shitshow of Twitter and all the idiotic things that are coming to light he’s done at other companies.

Plus, like, just listen to the dude talk. Absolutely no way would i trust my life to anything he’s ever remotely been involved in.

Space X is a legitimately good company. You can hate Elon all you want, Space X does some awesome shit. Rockets that land and are reusable, plus the advantage of completely getting rid of the US’s reliance on Russia.

Nooooo. Not many people are trying to get to space. Let the billionaires go to space so we have a chance at the universe! NASA is way to damn slow at doing anything. If all the humans wanted to explore the cosmos we would be a space colony by now. But nooooo just a tiny handfull of people care about space so now it’s going to take humdreds of years before we even see space colonies like you’d see in movies.

People think those sci-fi shows are fake hut the reality of it is that we CAN make gaint fleets of ships it’s just not enough people care enough and they are greedy and want money. Money being the factor the ruins it all.

Why bother with space? Just so we can colonise another planet and trash it all up like we did with Earth?

We can, and likely will do better in space. Despite humanities failing most people still care about the human race enough that they want the long term survival of the species. The only way to ensure that is expansion into space colonies.

That doesn’t mean we should give up on earth nor does it mean we should sacrifice climate health for the betterment of space travel.
