Just the o changes to p which is also next in the alphabet
Which word were you looking up, tho’?
While actually taking a shower, I was thinking about my current favorite game Heroes Forge. In Linux (snap; it’s also for mobile), its window title is just “Heroes” and I was like visually picturing that word in my head, when I noticed, just another line on the o would make it “Herpes” and those letters are also next to each other in the alphabet. I saved that thought to post it here after the shower.
(The game is very fun btw. Like only the battles of old Final Fantasy games, no walking around; no story. It just has a bug where it downloads its 200MB asset file to a temp dir where it gets deleted every boot, but easy to wrap in a shell start script that tars and untars it, if missing.)
Stopped reading after, “While taking a shower”. TMI and redundant.
whew,
ahaha 😅 my point was I wasn’t looking up any of them. accidentally wrote the origin story instead
erm, point taken…
Hermes
This is gonna give me a hernes (hernia?)
Funnily enough, this still holds up in Spanish.
And French
It’s not the same in French. Héros vs herpès.
Fair enough, but it is using the old grammar when written in all caps :P
I think you’ve found a conspiracy.
Heroes with herpes and villainous turkeys
Catching a virus from a girl in her thirties
Mouth parts all covered with pustules that sting
Those are a few of my favourite things
Bunt
Sounds like the name of a very strange role playing game.
I thought the same thing.
I’d play it. Sounds hilarious. Like cards against humanity as an rpg.
And the keyboard
Earth’s Mightiest Herpes.
