Gunmen have killed at least 22 people in south-west Pakistan after forcing them out of their vehicles and checking their identity, officials say.
The attack happened overnight on a highway in Balochistan province, where security forces are battling sectarian, ethnic and separatist violence.
The armed men checked identity documents, reportedly singling out those from Punjab to be shot, before setting the vehicles alight, officials alleged.

This shit is fucked up. As if the tension between Pakistan and India wasn’t strained enough.
It is fucked up, but what’s the connection with India?
Punjab is India.
Well while true that punjab is in India, this particular punjab they are referring to is eastern punjab in Pakistan and has no connection with india
Then I am also confused.
Unless the attackers were also confused and thought they were killing Indians.
From what i understand, BLA are seperatist and considerers Pakistan Punjabis and sindhis as targets
