Well, not quite. The evidence Grusch said he had is still classified and so is being presented to Congress in a secure manner, not in a public hearing.
Given how quickly Congress is acting, it seems they did in fact get some real evidence presented.
Sorry, “they know something we don’t” and “they are acting quickly” are not empirical evidence for aliens.
