9 months agoI set up a test rig with Fedora to see how the gaming went and didn’t have any issues with Steam or a handful of AAA games. Of note though, my test machine has an AMD GPU so I didn’t have to deal with any Nvidia driver shenanigans.

(serious) could you expound on what you mean by this?
So how screwed are we? Obviously this isn’t good, but I don’t think it’s going to stop here - and at least in the US it doesn’t seem like the political landscape is going to change any time soon. So is this bad enough for people to start having to do something like move away from the equator? Or are we approaching a legit “move to Mars” scenario?
Is that even possible?
Not who you’re replying to but yes, Synology will let you automate backups to a cloud/service (and you definitely should!)
