I got a NUC on ebay for about the same price, maybe a little less. Has more I/O and an SSD.

The pop can was my go-to in a pinch in my teenage years. Wonder if it left any lasting effects… I also recall using someone’s homemade bong made out of a Gatorade bottle and socket, pretty sure the original creator never cleaned it. Good times.
Imagine having a King in 2024
I too have thought about the family urn. Throw in the pet ashes too!
I absolutely hate that. I’ve also seen many listings set as “Remote” but when you drill down into their description it’s either like the above or “you must be within 25 miles of the office for occasional visits”. LinkedIn should remove these listings and temporarily ban the businesses that do this type of bait and switch.
I also can’t figure out why they’d need a secret passage, wtf?
Friends don’t let friends use Snap.
These aren’t for the small disposable drones. They’re for other missles and large aircraft. For the missles in particular, you should also factor in the potential cost of the damage they’ll cause if not intercepted.
I’m not sure about the glasses, but I love to crank the orange filter up on all my devices, desktop included. It just feels easier on my eyes I suppose, but I wouldn’t say I do it to help my sleep. The same goes for bulbs, I tend to prefer warmer colors.
we have no safe storage for the waste they produce.
This is not true. Nuclear waste is made almost completely safe by simply shielding it w/ concrete and letting it become less and less radioactive over time. In these cases, the radiation put off by the encapsulated waste gives off less radiation than flying on a plane. ALL of our nuclear waste (in the entire world) could fit in an area smaller than a football field and made inert with concrete.
The waste from fossil fuels floats around us constantly, and is in all of our lungs right now. I know which one I’d rather deal with.
Solar and wind alone cannot save us from climate change. We will continue to need more and more power, and solar and wind are unable to keep up on their own, especially year round. We need to use all of our safer options to replace fossil fuels, including nuclear.
If you’re interested in learning more, Kyle Hill has a very recent video on this exact subject: https://piped.video/watch?v=lhHHbgIy9jU
The species has only been scientifically recorded once before, by a Dutch botanist in 1961.
Wonder if anyone believed them at the time (especially after years of not finding one).
Thank you.

You can redirect all DNS traffic to your own DNS server to get around this.
They are not mutually exclusive.
I believe this is Maho Beach, Saint Martin.
See OP’s response, Maho Beach is just similar.
I’m curious where you run into there not being a YAML option? There’s almost always Open in YAML somewhere.
Won’t someone think of the economy?!
You are probably correct! I always forget about the UID…
Crontab to just auto reboot daily is probably better - if your PC becomes unresponsive I doubt it would be able to execute another script on top of everything. Ideally though, you’d do some log diving and figure out the cause.
