I thought defederation meant that you wouldn’t be able to see the posts either? For example, quite a few Lemmy instances defederated lemmynsfw.com because they didn’t want their users seeing NSFW content.

I’ve personally been having a better time with 0.18 on lemmy.ml than with 0.17.4.

Yeah, I’ve been missing a ton of comment replies from lemmy.world and it’s frustrating. I am wondering if it’s because they’re still on 0.17.4 instead of 0.18.

The tech is fine and actually pretty exciting. The shit coins need to go. I think we should separate the two concepts IMHO.

I’ve also been experiencing this issue from other lemmy.world users when they’re responding to posts I make on lemmy.ml. Their comments just aren’t appearing outside of their instance.

This is going to be such a stretch and I doubt this would ever happen, but if you could get a decently sized camera sensor on the back of a phone and a mirror less style lens mount…I would sell my DLSR in a heartbeat.
