Most people don’t have time to fritter on new tech, alt clients, etc. Honestly they’re not stupid and I resent the implication–Reddit’s just predatory. If we want an alternative to flourish, we gotta stop treating it like its a “smart people club” and being elitist about it

They’ve got this in Amsterdam but I would say it’s less accessible than bars/alcohol generally due to how polluted the air gets (despite the best efforts of filtration)

Idk, customized accents and images/identity is an accessibility thing for a lot of people, helps them have a sense of being where they’re intending to be & not lost in the content soup, which I do think a lot of decentralized projects do fall a little flat. It’s a tough line to toe!
