You should see previews in more posts in 0.10.10. If you reply with any examples that still aren’t working for you, we can have a look.
It basically asks each instance for its “all” feed (or wherever) and passes the combined contents into your chosen sorting algorithm. In 0.10.10 we do a better job of spotting and removing duplicates.
Finally! My chance to answer “yes” to this question: https://lemmy.world/post/2192516
Oh boy, did I just buy the wrong domain name.
Really, radio communication is about creating and transmitting those radio waves. Sign language relies on reflected light waves so it’s actually a form of RADAR 😀
Oh that’s interesting. I was wondering if the cache was getting cleared each time a new version got installed on iOS and that’s why we’re not seeing the issue so much, but that rules it out. Thanks!
We’re aware and actively working on resolving this. Thanks!
What version of Liftoff are you on right now?
He must be another new Lemmy user dusting off his old memes.
Oh nice, thanks. It’s not something that will necessarily get immediate attention, but it’s certainly something for us to think about,
Well it’s a bug in that Liftoff doesn’t deal very well with lemm.ee’s message about its image size restriction .
Okay, this is in lemmy.one right? I’ll see if there are some size limit issues we need to handle.
Edit:just tried creating an account there and got a JSON parse error. Is everything okay on that instance?
Edit 2: just tried on lemm.ee as mentioned below, and I get the same behaviour. Looking into it now.
Edit 3: We have an API issue. Logged as https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff/issues/428
Yep we got this feedback on release and are looking at making it an option.
Could you share a screen shot of layout you’re thinking of?
Sorry about that, the control buttons are getting pushed off the screen on some sizes. We have a fix ready that should be in the next build.
I assume it’s Settings > General > iPhone Storage, and then search for Liftoff using the magnifying glass once the spinner clears.
Mine only shows 61MB in Documents and Data though so I wonder if iOS isn’t telling me everything or if there’a an Android-specific issue here.
That’s not really true though. We got home video because it allowed us to watch films at home. There’s an argument that VHS won over Betamax because Sony didn’t allow porn titles on Betamax. Even if that’s true, it was only an advantage for VHS because there was no other easy way to get that content.
Now there is no problem with accessing porn on the internet. In fact the differentiator for many service providers is how to successfully protect households and schools from porn. If Lemmy becomes known as “the porn network”, little Johnny is going to find that loophole closed in short order.
Haha, I guess it’s often going to be a short-lived thing…
“Hey baby, are you a compelling new novel? Because I’d love to lose myself in your sheets. Like sheets of paper, you know, pages. I’m sorry, I’ll leave now.”
