Do you think someone first puked on their feet, then put them on the seat and that’s how it got there? Do you really think the cushion is deep cleaned all day every day after the shift? I think the people who would take off their shoes on public transit are absolutely the kind of folks who will have taken them off in other scenarios, and are far more likely to be contributing to the infestation of seats. Yes.
