    I don’t think you understand leftism. Economic leftism (Socialism, Marxism, Communism) is inherently anti capitalist. The social spectrum of left and right is pointless. I am not necessarily a Liberal but I would define myself as a leftist. I do not consider liberals to be inherently leftists.

        Your analogy is really off the point. “Work” doesn’t just mean “the product of force and displacement”, it’s a word in the English language with many different meanings, most being listed out in the picture below.

        But the left-right political spectrum doesn’t have different definitions as it is a term, with hierarchical ideologies being considered “right”, non-hierarchical ideologies being considered “left”, and milder ideological positions being considered “center”. Even if the populace of one nation uses the terms to refer to ruling and opposing parties, it doesn’t change the inherent definitions of them.
