No people understand just fine. It is the Democrats that don’t care that Biden isn’t polling well against Trump. If the only way you can get votes is by scaring everyone into a doomsday scenario on what will happen if they don’t vote for your corporate candidate, then it is time you picked a better candidate. The DNC seems to always push the candidate that will do the least but than possibly win by a slim margin, or sometimes not win at all… to be honest I don’t think they care as long as it isn’t a candidate that will use tax dollars to help the American people. Trump is way worse than Biden, but when you have to pick between a sociopath and a puppet time and time again… at some point people are just going to say fuck it, you reap what you sow.

Except surely it’s the public who end up reaping. DNC don’t give a fuck. Consequences don’t land on them.

Of course they don’t care that much. 4 more years of Trump and people will be more willing than ever to vote for a moderate-right Democrat. Heck, at this rate if John McCain could rise from the dead he’d be the Democratic frontrunner.

Polls this far out are pretty much useless. Plus polling still hasn’t been able to entirely mitigate the skew that the people most likely to answer polls are people who answer unknown numbers, or old people with landlines, neither group of which is likely to be a democratic voter.

Part of the problem is the nation is so fractured and at its own throat that finding someone that more than ten percent of the voters aren’t instantly repulsed by is almost impossible.

It feels like there’s an endless list of reasons the left will reject someone and many of them overlap and contradict.
