That’s a horrifying image. She’s got some serious footwear. Fuck cops. I’m big and you’re small! I’ll hit you with this stick!

    Fascist fuck.

Except if you have guns then we will be pussies of highest order.

THAT’S how the 2nd amendment and much else of the Constitution was intended to be used, I feel. Y’know, before the people lost their damn minds for various reasons, and maybe they understood the importance of backing each other to keep the power-hungry at bay.

But now we’ve stood aside as we got things like State-defined rules for having proper unobtrusive protests, and unions that must be “authorized” and promise not to get in the way too much, binding arbitration without a right to a jury trial, and police shove and beat journalists while a loud chunk of the population says “He must’ve had a good reason! What’d you do?”

        God help us.

Your monthly reminder here that forced arbitration is unconstitutional under the plain text of the 7th Amendment.

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Wow, that’s an awesome reminder! TIL. Thank you kindly!

It was in my head because recently I had to send like 4 “Oh no you don’t” emails to like 4 or 5 companies that tried to pull that with a little ToS edit. It seems to be all the rage these days. :(

If you’ve never seen Team American: World Police look it up and you’ll better understand what Americans think about American “freedom.” Which funnily enough recieved a NC-17 rating due to an explicit sex scene involving puppets.

If I may say it: She’s hot.

Edit: You may downvote, but at the end of the day she’s still hot.

She spooked him. Not everyday you see a head floating above some legs and camera equipment.

It was worse than what the picture shows.

There’s a bunch of videos on Twitter/X showing how they pushed her into that position, turned her around, and hauled her off before cuffing her and detaining her. She was thankfully released later, but this is just far too much. All of it is.

For those unaware, NYPD SRG is notorious for excessive force and civil rights violations.

In case, you know, it wasn’t blatantly obvious.

Now imagine this image came out of Russia, it would be plastered on the covers of all magazines as the western world would stroke its ego dick around this image. But I guess it’s not coming out of Russia now, so it’s irrelevant. (Not that I support Russia lol, fuck their fascist regime too)

When the war with Ukraine started, people in Russia went to protest it. Thousands were arrested on day one. No one remembers that now and it wasn’t reported much in the West.

I think your memory is betraying you here, because all the big media outlets were talking about the protests going on in Russia at the time

Are you sure? Because I clearly remember the whole internet and Western media joking how Russia will collapse in 24 hours instead of reporting what was actually going on. And then people shitting on Russians for not doing anything to stop the war.

Would it? Was it plastered all over magazines when they were arresting people for holding signs that say things like ” I will be arrested for this sign”

For some reason googling her name gives results for like 8 different people in various countries and time periods.
