Today is my “day off” which i use to finish my phd thesis and for some reason im feeling on top of things and focused, which is nice. Could be new medication, could be more exercise, could just be random. Wife is having a terrible migraine though, that’s a bit sad to see.

If doing nothing is already an improvement, this must be a whole other level. It’s forreal super cool to hear this, but there I’m wondering how sustainable this type of action is with opposing right wing politicians. I mean, it feels kind a no brainer that this is the right thing to do, but the previous administration apparently got away with some other views?

I’m in the same boat. In newcommunities@lemmy.world I found some info on finding other communities but it’s still not a bit iffy, also i combinatino with LiftOff for mobile. Took me a while to find and sub to one of the “drums” communities.

howeverrrrrr, it struck me that I made a quick post on a relatively niche subject, even within the “drums” community, but I got a sincerely helpful and geniune comment within hours. If there’s not a lot of people but enough nice people here to have a decent flow of information 'round, that’s an amazing deal in my book!

Yeah I figured haha. But yeah, big doesn’t equal good, I like the communities on lemmy better by now, without a lot of randoms.

Surprises me there is still some… normal stuff. I guess there a still people just normally using reddit lel?

I hope it’s a matter of time. I’m starting to feel more communities are becoming more and more populated and it’s by now just starting to top reddit.

Edit: thinking about it, if people still like it on reddit than, whatever anyone wants. I’ve got a feeling the quality is better here, so I don’t think I’d mind it staying a bit lesss mega-big.

Could it be that that’s super slow? It seems to have been loading for ages. Could be the sublem’s don’t exist, but I’m looking for music, guitar and drum related subs, which I think would be around by now.

They’re literally just scared of Putin? As if he would even show up if they made it clear he will be arrested. Is he even leaving the Kremlin as of late?
