I can’t directly answer your question. I know very little about Mastodon, as I just recently made an account. However, from what I’ve seen with a variety of open-source projects, as well as the fediverse itself, it seems that group politics may often hamper the very projects “they” are trying to improve. I hope that people try to remain in the spirit of their projects, whatever they may be.

Hmm, interesting. I must ask, is there such a Black-centric community here on Lemmy/Mastadon? If so, hook a brotha up. :)

Well, if they can do that, they can cancel your favorite show without breaking a sweat. It’ll be hard for creators, but the only way to stop this is to produce shows themselves.

Many blind sheep hate that buzzword, but no other word describes capitalistic failure and greed like it.
