  • This is YouTube. Not reddit. I get your point you’re trying to push but it’s two different websites - good on YouTube to allow this kind of conversation to happen. But you can’t discount the reach that Reddit has. You can’t really have discussion on YouTube, the comment section is always a shit show. On reddit you at least have more space to talk to others and have people be a witness to your line of thought.

  • It also refers to a more subversive methodology of the powers at be to suppress information that they don’t agree with and deem harmful to the status quo, i.e. Luigi’s manifesto. It’s a multi layered statement that really is applicable to situations.

The thing it’s referring to in this instance is the fact that Reddit is not allowing freedom of speech under the guise of whatever reason it says it has and having that decision protected because it is a private company worried about its own interests.

  • Yea you’re not wrong. The Republicans are playing the long game here. They’re really getting involved with the youth, I mean just look at rumble for example and whatever other medium they’ve been using. The Democrats are virtually non-existent it feels like on the social networking side of things or maybe it’s just the Right is obnoxiously loud. It’s scary man, if they can mobilize and weaponize the younger demographic voters then what does that spell for the short term (2028) or even the longer term when their ideals are fully cemented and are less likely to be swayed unless a serious upheaval happens.
